We are excited to announce that Lydia Anderson from Postpartum Support Virginia will join us at out February meeting to talk about maternal health!  The meeting will be on 2/15/2020 at the Richard Byrd library in Springfield, Virginia from 10am-12noon.

Lydia's background: She is a mom of 3 - an almost 10-year old son, 8-year old daughter and 3-year old son. All 3 of her babies were born via c-section; all with completely different stories. Lydia was diagnosed with postpartum depression after the birth of her third child. She was able to find help at Postpartum Support Virginia‘s Arlington support group.  After she recovered, she wanted to help new mothers in Prince William County find help and resources in their community.  An Arlington native and Virginia Tech graduate, Lydia is a small business owner who lives in Woodbridge with her family while also serving as the Director of Coalitions and Woodbridge Coordinator for Postpartum Support Virginia.
